Linna demands to be prepped for launch, Priss seconding it, and demanding that a suit be built for her.

The AD Police learn the SkyHook is still supplying power to the Dragon Line as that the boomer is connected directly to it. Linna arrives at the scene and engages the boomer. Nene, noticing that the boomers’ connection to the Dragon Line is now exposed, tells Linna to destroy it. After seeing her in action, Nene is impressed with the new hardsuit.

Mason awakens to find that Galatea has matured her form somewhat and is communicating with some energy amoeba, which Mason doesn’t like. Galatea asks if he wants to be a god, to which he wants to be a ‘pro-active’ god. He then speaks of an embryonic boomer core that he had implanted within himself in the hopes that it would fix his weak body. Galatea then wants to know why he rejected his humanity, and why Sylia rejected Galatea even though she was a part of her. Galatea then activates the embryonic core within Mason.

Back at the pit, Nene is amazed by the new suits. Linna tells her that there is still some work to be done before asking Nigel and Macky if they would work on it. Sylia and Nigel then go off to have a heart to heart. Sylia is expressing feelings for Nigel, but he wants her to retire from concern for her safety. Priss doesn’t like what is going on between them, and she heads for home.

Mason is being assimilated into the building, Galatea transforming him into an observer. She matures her form again and announces that she wishes to free the Dragon Line.

After she gets home, Priss is attacked by animated clown toys that scratch and bite her. The only means she has of defending herself are a pipe and an old wrench until Leon comes to her aid. He is both concerned and curious about Priss’ well-being and why she is still in the city.

As she is changing her clothes, he updates her on the city’s evacuation and the subsequent quarantine of certain areas of Tokyo. He then leans in to try to kiss her; Priss looks scared and a bit sad. Nene and Linna then interrupt the moment — a part of the Dragon Line is going rogue.

Leon then drives Priss on her motorcycle, she asks about Daley. Leon hopes that he went home to the family farm. Leon then asks for the real reason why she hates the AD Police, which was dissolved.

At the Pit, Macky flees the staging area to allow the girls to suit up. It’s Nene’s first time, and Linna talks her through it. The inner metal is pumped over them, and they each focus on a mental charm to link the hardsuit to their brain waves, giving the suits their intended forms.

Just after they take off, Priss arrives to suit up. Her wounds concern Macky. The inner metal burns her injuries, but she must work through the pain, or the suit will not form properly.

The three girls prepare to engage the Dragon Line, Sylia goes in first. Linna follows, and Nene brings up the rear. They think they have beaten it, but it springs back to life and captures Linna and Nene. Sylia is then on her own.
