In the vision, young Sylia was in obvious pain, concerning Leon as Priss feels it. Galatea is trying to contact them, wanting to ‘play.’ They all drop what they are doing and rush to Sylia’s side.

Genom is in the process of studying Galatea, and Mason pays her a visit inside of her containment unit. He tries to discourage her from using her abilities too soon, promising to find something to entertain herself with on his next visit.

Nene briefly explains to the others how Sylia, Macky, and Galatea are connected. Sylia regains consciousness, much to their collective relief. They all then begin to wonder how they were able to experience Sylia’s memories.

Sylia tells them about her previous team and why she chose Priss, Nene, and Linna for this new team. She needed compatible minds to operate the hardsuits properly. She then confirms their theory about the hardsuits being modified boomers and apologizes for not telling them initially. She explains the limits that she built into the suits and why she recruited women — physical compatibility.

Nene begins to take it the wrong way, but Macky steps in to elaborate. The hardsuits tap into the wearer’s mental synapses, into their subconscious. He also states that the suits are extensions of Sylia’s past/younger self. This revelation only serves to piss of Priss, and she takes off before Sylia calmly orders three new hardsuits.

Daley was teasing Leon about Priss but then informs him that all of the departments are talking about the AD Police’s impending liquidation. Leon is pissed.

Rosenkreutz has become suspicious of Mason and demands answers.

It’s a quiet night at AD Police operations when Macky calls Nene. Sylia is building the first new hardsuit for herself, but if Nene were to stop by, Macky would have it made for her. Nene decides to stay at work, learning that most of the department has taken sick leave to protest the AD Police’s liquidation.

Leon has gone to his supervisor, determined to get answers for the dissolution of the AD Police. He claims that he cannot and will not go back to the Normal Police. His supervisor replies, “Once a cop, always a cop.”

Nene is consulting with her stuffed weasel, basically talking to herself when the tower goes on lockdown. In her quest to learn what happened, she discovers that very few people left inside the building and that the boomers from Evidence Storage have reactivated.

Genom had allowed Galatea access to the hard-lines leading to the AD Police tower and is now tracking the boomers’ movements inside.

Sylia has neurological and physiological scans taken in preparation for constructing her new hardsuit. Still, Galatea’s activity makes it hard for her – especially when Galatea connects with Macky and uses him to communicate with Sylia. Nigel helps him to regain control, learning that Nene is in danger.

Roland and the remaining officers within the tower are attempting to stop the spread of the boomers. Nene is struggling to make contact with the outside while keeping tabs on the boomers inside.

Linna is out running an errand and has a scary hallucination just before Macky calls her to tell her Nene needs help, Linna immediately wishing for her hardsuit.
