Priss and Nene are taking down a rogue boomer, Linna unable to be there as her scooter has broken down again. She feels left out as their thruster trails steak off into the distant night.

Priss has brought her motorcycle into Nigel’s garage for repairs and learns that Genom parts are being installed. She is not pleased by that but lets it go. Linna then arrives to have her scooter worked on, and she and Priss talk while Nigel and Macky work. Linna tells Priss that she will be out of town for a while on family business, and asks if Priss would inform Sylia.

Rosenkreutz is observing the construction of the Umbrella as Mason uses the work on the Dragon Line as a cover-up for his search for the Wiz Lab. Rosenkreutz has learned from experience that boomers will not be man’s path to immortality, but a path to Utopia.

Sylia is being given intelligence about the Dragon Line and learns that Mason is the one in charge of it. Sylia despises the man and knows that he is only using the project to further his own ends.

Linna arrives in her hometown and takes a bus to her parent’s home. When she arrives at the house, she discovers that dinner is in progress and some of her other relatives are present. Her mother tries to reassure her later that her father really does care and is happy that she is there. Linna learns that her father is planning to fix her up with another young man. She is still trying to figure out where exactly it is that she belongs.

Meanwhile, Mason is trying to learn what he can about the hardsuits. He is hoping that they can help him in his search for the original boomer predecessor.

Linna is introduced to her marriage prospect, Masaki, and she is surprised by how cute he is. After a family dinner, Linna and Masaki are taking a stroll and talking about Tokyo and their reasons for being there. The two begin to feel that their parents may have been on to something.

Nene is on her way out of the building to head for home when she is stopped by Leon and Daley. They want her to look at some videos of the Knight Sabers for them. Nene is unhappy that they are making her stay late when all she wants to do is go home. A call then comes in about a rogue boomer while Nene is still at work, and she is stuck.

As Priss is going to suit up at the pit, she remembers to tell Sylia that Linna can’t come — meaning that Priss has to go out alone. Linna is now torn between her family obligations and her loyalty to the Knight Sabers.
