Leon and Daley, and Nene and Linna, then engage the boomer, the distraction giving Priss the opportunity to escape. Daley realized that Linna is new to the team while Leon things he recognizes Priss from somewhere.
When Linna moves in to try to get to the boomer’s core, her battery goes critical. Her hardsuit freezes and Linna begins to panic as she is now helpless. Nene tries to help her because to do otherwise means that Linna will be crushed.
Leon and Daley fire on the boomer, and consequently Linna as well. Priss and her hardsuit arrive, freeing Linna and taking out the boomer. AD Police ground forces then burst in, the resulting commotion making the prime time for the Knight Sabers to escape.
In the mobile pit, Linna is out of her hardsuit and grateful to be alive. She tries to thank Priss, but the other girl will have none of it. She believes that Sylia’s decision to send in Linna was reckless. She then storms off.
Later, Linna arrives at Priss’ home — a trailer in an old run-down part of town. Priss offers to make her a sandwich, then the two begin to talk. Priss wants to know why Linna is there, why she wants to be a Knight Saber so badly. After Linna explains her do-gooder intentions, she asks Priss why she became a Knight Saber. Priss basically tells her that she does purely for the excitement and the money. Linna then decided to try and be just as good, if not better, than Priss.
Henderson, out of concern for Sylia and the other girls, questions Sylia’s intentions. In response, she snaps at him. Then, when she checks the message left by Nene regarding her data search, she gets even angrier.
Daley is teasing Leon about his past love interest, Priss having become the latest to draw his attention. Leon is still racking his brain trying to figure out where he saw her before.
It is early evening in the city now. Linna is leaving work to spend time at the gym. When she finally returns home, she belittles herself for having gotten out of shape. Priss is spending her evening performing at Hot Legs, Leon is in her audience and has realized where he knows her from. After the concert, he confronts a distracted Priss. Meanwhile, a tampered factory boomer goes rogue in the industrial quarter.
