Linna has just moved to Tokyo and is starting her new job. A co-worker, Misei, is showing her around and helping her to settle in. Misei criticizes her for being polite to the boomers, allowing her own disgust for the humanoid models to show.

As the two are finishing their lunch and heading back to work, Linna has her first run-in with Priss — the woman almost running her over with her motorcycle. Linna then tries to run her down on foot, breaking a shoe in the process. In frustration with the fact that Priss is getting away, Linna throws the broken shoe at her and cries.

Back at work, Linna is being scolded by the boomer manager unit for being late for work and about her state of dress. Linna makes a sarcastic remark and is then assigned punishment. It is during that assignment that she is asked to dinner by Kain, a section/department manager.

Later that night, Nene is on-duty in the AD Police operations department. The night is quiet and she’s bored. When Leon calls to report in, she snaps at him. Lay-offs are imminent because of the Knight Sabers and Nene is being sent home early again.

Kain has taken Linna out to Soto ward for a tour of the area and dinner. As he is explaining to her how the ward rebounded after the Second Great Earthquake. While they are at dinner, a boomer construction unit goes rogue, prompting Sylia to summon the Knight Sabers — Priss and Nene.

At the restaurant, Kain begins to hit on Linna, which makes her mad and she storms off. However, the rogue boomer appears at the restaurant. It focuses on Linna, following her as she tries to flee the restaurant.

Priss and Nene arrive in their hardsuits to battle the boomer and to rescue Linna. During the battle, Linna begins to connect the woman on the motorcycle to the one in the blue hardsuit. Just as the Knight Sabers go to leave the scene, Leon and Daley arrive. Leon then unknowingly yells about the Knight Sabers over an open channel.

The next day, Linna goes into Kain’s office in order to “thank” him for the night before. She then punches him in the face. That evening, she catches up to Priss after her band practice. She then tells her that she knows Priss is a Knight Saber, and that Linna wants to be one, as well. Priss just rides off without saying anything.
