Description
Priss doesn’t give much thought to her appearance. She just about always wears her leather riding gear unless she’s settled in at home for the night or gunning down rogue boomers. Her long hair is usually stringy and unkempt, and probably contains a number of split ends. She has pale skin and amazing, unmistakable, brown eyes. It was her eyes that helped Linna track her down (in addition to a signal Priss gave her when she rescued her for the first time — tapping her forehead.)
Personality
Priss is more of a hardened mercenary — stoic and cold, with a passionate temper. She is also distant and values her privacy. Priss is a private and cynical person, keeping her thoughts and feelings to herself. Unless she’s pissed. Then she tends to unload. She doesn’t admit to having friends, whether it’s her band-mates or the Knight Sabers (she did say that she could think of the Sabers as step-sisters). Priss prefers to be left alone, something she takes seriously. She tends to give people the brush-off or to just ignore them entirely. She does go out of her way to try to spend time with Nigel, using ‘imaginary’ problems with her bike as an excuse to do it.
Priss has a deep disgust (bordering on hatred) for the ADP. She explains that it’s because a disc of hers was destroyed in a rogue boomer incident. Later ‘actions’ of the ADP only added to her issues with them. Unfortunately, she has mistaken the lack of proper equipment and backing as indifference on their total part. Of course, it would seem that they were only concerned with their own well-being and incompetent because they were underpowered and understaffed. Eerie enough, Priss is amused at how the ADP still tries to take the boomers despite being out-gunned. That was until the ADP and their K-suits almost caught them.
History
Priss was left basically homeless after the Great Earthquake (she presumably lost her family), living in what remained of a building until the day when a rogue boomer and the ADP destroyed her home and a disc of songs she had to leave behind. At some point, she became the lead vocalist for the underground rock band Sekiria, and they play a semi-permanent gig at the club “Hot Legs”.
Priss later met Sylia at an ADP blockade and was offered a chance at the Knight Sabers. Between the money from the club and her mercenary pay, Priss manages to eke out a living. She keeps a modest house in an old trailer in a seedy and more abandoned part of Mega-Tokyo “because it’s private”. Eventually, Nene joined the team to act as back-up for her, and then Priss ‘helped’ Linna to join.
During the events leading up to Galatea, Priss and Leon began to get to know each other, and after Galatea was freed they began to get closer. When the ADP was overrun, Priss went in with her moto-slave to rescue Nene and helped to try to clear the way for the trapped officers to escape, wishing for her hardsuit the entire time. She later got her new hardsuit and moto-slave just in time to save the rest of the team from assimilation by Galatea’s giant worm.
When they first went after Galatea, Priss risked the integrity of her hardsuit to destroy the “amoebas” that were sent after them. When the three of them went up to the Umbrella, Priss and her moto-slave dealt with Galatea while Linna and Nene tried to stop the cannon from firing. Galatea tried to make Priss her “anti-seed,” but she began to force her own evolution. Priss and Moto-slave then destroyed her. However, Galatea had realized how wrong she had been and helped Priss to make it to Earth safely.

Hardsuit
Priss is the heavy assault specialist of the Knight Sabers and in so being, is the strongest member of the team. Her dark blue hard-suit with red accents was designed for no-holds-barred street style combat. The primary weapons for the suit consist of “knuckle bombers,” small, pressure-sensitive explosive charges affixed to plates built into her power gauntlets. The knuckle bombs are five charges to a plate, that when not in use are locked into position on the backs of her hands. When in use, the plate locks down over the front of her clenched fist and the charges lift up off the plate to prevent damage to the suit. It is with these that she uses to gain access to a boomer’s core.
The differences between the old and new suits vary only slightly. On her old suit, the bombs were located on a plate over her hands and over the top of both feet. On the new suit, the bombs are located on the overhang of her power gauntlets and the heels of her feet, requiring her to employ a downward chop or a reverse spin for her kicks. The new suit is built stronger and more robust than the previous suit and is able to merge with her moto-slave. Paired up, it allows Priss to fly and gives her some heavy duty weaponry. The second moto-slave was shown to be drivable by others besides Priss, namely Leon. It probably drove itself for the most part.
Priss is by no means a graceful fighter, proven numerous times by the way she has been smacked into walls and crushed into the pavement by a rogue boomer and once by the ADP. She makes up for the lack of grace with her calm and determined fighting attitude, employing swift and quick attacks. This is partly because of the need to get to the scene, disable the boomer, and get out of there, all on a very limited battery life. She was also the sole fighter on the team for a while.
Notes
In an interview with a music show, Priss was asked what she would do if she was not a rock singer: “I would be a Knight Saber so I could blow things up.” She has admitted to considering the other girls as ‘step-sisters’. It was a simulation based on her perspective that was used to test Linna.
