“My Nation Underground”

Repair teams are working to fix some underground tunnels. One of the workers is paired with a boomer, and isn’t happy about it, repeatedly insulting the android. As they continue their work, they begin to hear frightening noises coming from deeper in the tunnel. The boomer goes to investigate and is grabbed by some creature before being pulled into the darkness.

Linna is at work when Misei tells her of the missing boomers from the 28th ward. Linna can find little to no news coverage of it, however. Misei is quickly getting annoyed with all of the conspiracy talk.

Sylia is tracking the locations of the boomer disappearances, but like Genom, is perplexed. She is concerned because the boomers are going missing in the same area that BioScape once occupied.

Nene is hacking into Genom’s system as per a request from Sylia. Leon happens to catch them in the act but instead asks her about being at the club after hours. Nene is amazed that Priss would even ask him to come and promptly sets out to fluster him.

It is the middle of the morning when Priss finally gets out of bed. She later receives a call from Nene, who tells her that she knows about Leon. It only serves to annoy Priss. Later, Nene tells Linna what she knows and wants to hook Leon up with Priss. Linna doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

The human workers aren’t happy about having to work in quake-damaged areas. Many of the BioScape workers died, and there are concerns about dead bodies and ghosts. As the conversation shifts to the missing boomers, another boomer goes down into the tunnels. The boomer later opens a lost bunker and begins to go rogue.

Sylia is having a question of conscience, making Macky concerned for her. As Nene s showing Macky how to access specific files in the system, she tells them of her plans to hook up Leon and Priss. Sylia is not pleased and threatens to kick her off the team.

Linna meets Priss at band practice, asking her why she hates the AD Police. Priss gets angry and demands to know what else Nene may have told her. She does tell Linna why she hates the AD Police because “They’re just another lie.” Sylia summons them not long after; Nene pouts behind her.

Leon and Daley arrive on the scene and the Knight Sabers not long after. Priss and Nene engage the boomer, only to have Nene be bull-headed and charge straight in. Having gotten herself into deadly trouble, it’s Daley and an unexpected boomer muncher that saves her.
